Today we left the hotel right after breakfast so that we could go to Fayeton and say goodbye to the children before they had to go to school. They thanked us for coming and it was a tearful goodbye but we knew we were leaving the orphanage much better off than when we came. And we also knew, that many had trusted Christ this week.
We went back to the hotel and packed our bags to leave for Club Indigo, which is a seaside resort hotel a little over halfway to Port au Prince. In order to take our luggage we had to make two trips but we all got there at about 2:30pm and had some time to relax on the beach before dinner.
Dean has been doing mission work in Haiti for over thirty years and he invited Pastor Minas and his friend Manu from nearby St Marks for dinner. They both shared their testimonies with us and how God has worked through them through some very dangerous times in Haiti in the past.
We went back to our rooms to pack and get ready for our trip home tomorrow, very thankful for all that was accomplished this week.
