Day 4: Tuesday – Second Day in Cali, Valentina’s Birthday

Today’s blog post was written by Kathleen Meyer – Craig

Tuesday was another great day!  By now, with one full working day behind us, we felt like seasoned professionals ready to “work our plan”.   We arrived at the park and were greeted by our hosts and their families and quickly assembled for our morning devotion. Continue reading

Chan Kilgore: Gospel Motivation

The main idea:

In his first message “Gospel Message: From Transaction to Transformation,” Chan Kilgore deconstructs what the gospel is, what it isn’t, and how it should have an impact on all areas of our life. In this second message, “Gospel Motivation: Determining What Drives Us,” Chan constructs a gospel motivation founded on Jesus’ beatitudes from Matthew 5. Chan helps church planters think through how to create a gospel revolution in their hearts and of their people.

Why you should listen to him:

Chan Kilgore is the lead pastor and church planter of CrossPointe Church in Orlando, FL and has been a member of the Spanish River church planting family for nearly a decade. Chan has led CrossPointe to become one church meeting as three congregations with locations in Lake Nona (Chan Kilgore), Waterford Lakes (Jared Davis), and Winter Park (Jamie Hart). Chan hosts the Gospel Cohort each month with church planters and ministry leaders from central and northern Florida. Chan is also the secretary/treasurer of the Acts 29 Network.
